  • Shoot day! I’ll guide you gently but keep things candid, creating space for real moments to unfold naturally.

  • You’ll receive a curated gallery of images that are ready to be shared, celebrated, and remembered.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Each session is tailored, but you can expect a pre-session consult, creative direction, location planning, shoot time, and a curated gallery of high-quality, edited images. Full details and investment info are available on the Services page.

  • Yes — to secure your session date, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at booking, along with a signed contract. The remaining balance is due before the shoot date. This helps keep things official and ensures we’re both committed.

  • Life happens, I get it. If you need to reschedule, just give me at least 72 hours notice and we’ll find a new date that works — your retainer will transfer over once.

    For cancellations: the retainer is non-refundable, but if you need to fully cancel, just let me know as soon as possible. I don’t charge additional cancellation fees, but any paid retainers won’t be refunded since that date was held just for you.

    Note: Emergencies and serious situations? I’ll always work with you — just communicate early and we’ll figure it out together.

  • I’m based in NYC but available to travel. If your vision takes us beyond the city, let’s chat — I love a creative field trip. Travel fees may apply depending on location.

  • Generally, 2-4 weeks depending on the session type. I’ll always give you a clear timeline upfront so you know when to expect your gallery.

  • While Tenth & Kingston was created with BIPOC creatives and communities in mind, I work with anyone who aligns with our values of representation, respect, and storytelling with soul. If that’s you — we’ll get along just fine.

  • The sooner the better, especially for couples and events. I typically book 2-3 months in advance, but don’t hesitate to reach out — sometimes I have space for last-minute projects.

  • Yes — but selectively. I offer limited event coverage for intimate gatherings like graduations, baby showers, non-profit events, and small community celebrations. If that’s what you’re planning, let’s talk to see if it’s a fit.

  • Short answer: No. I carefully curate and edit every image to ensure it reflects the quality and aesthetic of Tenth & Kingston. Trust me — you don’t want the raw files. 😉
